As the cold wind freezes your body vein by vein,

And you become numb and impotent,

It is that faint ray of sunlight you chose to discount

That can ignite inner warmth in you.

But you would rather wait till heatwaves came

Till the frost shed and heat tingled your skin

But little do you know that external summer

Cannot melt the frost in your heart.
